The Legacy of Smith Wigglesworth

Redigging the wells

"The Lord would so cleanse the motive and desires of our hearts that we will seek but one thing only, and that is, His glory."

Smith Wigglesworth.

About Bowland Street Mission

We are a Christian organisation dedicated to helping to bring in the Kingdom of heaven on earth. Our focus is the saving of souls through the preaching of the gospel with signs following.

We are based in Bowland Street Mission on Bowland Street, Bradford using the actual building that Smith and Polly Wigglesworth had from 1889 to 1919.

This building was designated by God to appear on the scene and be the springboard for all kinds of supernatural happenings. In this place the glory of God fell! The lost were saved, the sick were healed and the dead were raised. The Great Holy Ghost was given free reign and untold numbers came running to the Lord. In 1919 Smith left the Mission and the glorious happenings ceased.

From 1919 to 2002 the building had various uses. From 2002 the building stood empty eventually becoming derelict. However in January of 2017, on instruction from the Lord, it was acquired by ourselves with the sole intention of turning it back into the Bowland Street Mission of The days of Smith Wigglesworth, that is the return of Pentecost and the freedom of The Holy Ghost.
